Seasoned professional musicians Nina Cline (soprano), Leah Kaye Serr (mezzo-soprano), Christyan Seay (tenor), and Matthew A. Robinson (baritone), accompanied by Daniel L. Dorty
(collaborative pianist and organist), will present their second annual summer recital series at numerous venues across Central Pennsylvania. Programming features solo and group selections across various styles including opera,
musical theater, sacred music, and choral repertoire.

Nina Cline
SOPRANO
Lyric soprano Nina Cline has quickly become a rising star in vocal styles from operatic arias to Broadway show tunes across Central Pennsylvania. Known for her shimmering high notes and versatility, Nina has been critically acclaimed as a "fireball of talent," and an actress with the "perfect blend of compassion, wistfulness, and hope... a true shining star." Ms. Cline has been noted for her flexibility as a performer in both stage and concert settings for her ability to embody musical theater roles, enhance worship through sacred music, and sing as recitalist and soloist in concert performance.

Ms. Nina Cline holds degrees from Lycoming College and the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Cline currently continues her private studies under acclaimed soprano and vocal pedagogue Christine Moore-Vassallo.

Leah Kaye Serr
MEZZO SOPRANO
Mezzo-soprano, Leah Kaye Serr, has established herself as a singer and actress of "strength and lyrical beauty." She received an undergraduate degree from The Peabody Conservatory of Johns HopkinsUniversity in vocal performance and completed her master's degree at the University of Tennessee where she was also a member of the Knoxville Opera Studio Program.

Ms. Serr has performed with opera companies across the nation, was selected as the recipient of the prestigious Sarasota Opera Guild Award, won 3rd place in the American Prize National Competition for Vocal Performance in the college and university art song division, and won the Middle/East Tennessee District Metropolitan Opera competition.​

Christyan Seay
TENOR
Christyan Seay, is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and studied voice with the late Dr. Thomas Houser and Dr. Anthony Leach (Pennsylvania State University). Active in recital, oratorio and opera, Mr. Seay has performed extensively throughout central Pennsylvania and abroad, including performances with the Harrisburg, Lancaster and West Shore Symphonies, The Pennsylvania Consort, the Harrisburg Opera Association, Opera Lancaster, Opera North and Concert Operetta of Philadelphia. He has performed at Weill Recital Hall in New York City as well as Smetana Hall in Prague (Czech Republic). Among his memorable performances, in April 2018 Mr. Seay sang as a member of the chorus and soloist in “The Underground Railroad: A Spiritual Journey” with renown soprano Kathleen Battle.

Matthew A. Robinson
BARITONE
Acclaimed baritone Matthew A. Robinson has firmly established himself as one of the most talented singers in Central Pennsylvania. With his rich voice, musicality, and commanding presence, he has become one of the most sought-after vocalists in both stage performance, concert, and sacred venues.

In addition to an active singing schedule, Robinson serves as Executive Director of the Music Under the Dome Concert Series at St. Patrick Cathedral in Harrisburg, PA, Director of Music at St. Francis Xavier Church in Gettysburg, PA, and as a private vocal instructor.
​
Matthew A. Robinson studied vocal performance at Messiah College under Dr. Damian Savarino.

Daniel Dorty
COLLABORATIVE ACCOMPANIST
Acclaimed pianist and organist Daniel L. Dorty is the Director of Music and Organist of the historic Derry Presbyterian Church in Hershey, PA. In high demand, Dorty is the collaborative pianist and organist for the internationally acclaimed Susquehanna Chorale, and serves as collaborative accompanist with highly acclaimed musicians. Mr. Dorty is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association, the American Guild of Organists, and serves as board member and accompanist for the Mount Gretna Summer Bible Festival.
Daniel Dorty maintains a private studio providing private instruction in organ, piano, and voice. Dorty studied at Messiah College majoring in sacred music with a concentration in organ performance.
